Roto Grip Riot Bowling Ball

Roto Grip Riot Bowling Ball

Two new bowling balls are available as pre-orders from Roto Grip right now. The first is the Roto Grip Riot. From my reading, I’m finding it’s a great ball for an average bowler. When bowling on a typical or regular house shot, and laid out with a safe drilling pattern it’s a very consistent mid-priced ball. it’s got a really smooth, solid move on the back end. Bowlers love to throw balls like this because they know what to expect every time. For its consistent play, at the price I’m finding this ball at you can’t beat it. Roto Grip is doing some very good things across all of their ball lines right now.

Roto Grip Dark Star

Another ball out by Roto Grip right now is a solid reactive resin called the Roto Grip Dark Star. (I failed to mention that the Riot is a Pearl Reactive Resin.) Both of these balls have Roto Grip’s Ultimate Vision Reactive Resin coverstock. Again, I haven’t bowled with this ball, but it’s getting similar reviews of consistency to the aforementioned Riot. Very predictable. A very solid ball that does what you expect. You really can’t ask for more than that out of a mid-range priced reactive resin ball.

Let’s hope Roto Grip keeps delivering with quality, lower priced balls like the Riot and Dark Star. And let’s hope other brands out there can keep up with what Storm and Roto are doing.
